Anclamar proposal Dec 09

Post  JohnB on Fri Dec 04, 2009 7:08 pm

This is a copy of an email sent today - 4th December 2009 to all Anclamar purchasers on behalf of Richard Couch - purchaser of Anclamar 5

Dear Fellow Purchasers,

Matters appear to have gone very quiet on the Anclamar front. The last email I have seen is from August.

As some of you may know as well as being a purchaser in Anclamar ( No.5) , I am co-developer of another project in Margarita, El Agua Garden Suites. I am visiting the island in the third week of December to progress matters on my development.

However I do intend to make enquires regarding Anclamar. I visited the island in October and whilst had little time to address Anclamar issues I did visit the site and have taken photographs which I am happy to share. having seen the site I do believe we can get this project finished.

To start I was thinking of instructing my engineer/surveyor to conduct an assessment of what is required to complete the build at Anclamar. This will involve us in a cost of US$2000, however I believe this will be money well spent and his report will allow us to compare with the one Rocio from IPLC forwarded to us. Rocio has promised a second report from another surveyor but we have had nothing from her. I have full confidence in my engineer in giving a realistic and detailed report. ( between the 12 of us the cost of the survey would be c.£100)

I have not pushed IPLC on the status with Rosamar, the developer as I am loath to get committed to more lawyer fees both here and in Margarita and would like to see what I can achieve whilst I am over there. Obviously I will give my time free of charge initially as it is in my interest too that we solve the Anclamar problems.

From the email sent out by Dean Allen/Steve Mills in July most if not all wanted to get the project completed. Is that still the case?

Are you in favour of me instructing my engineer to do a survey and provide an estimate of completion costs?

Please answer as soon as possible so that I can be clear on what I am going to do.

I look forward to hearing from you

With regards

Richard Couch
